There’s a new and fresh Black Lemon in the basket and her name is Laura. Laura is our new Direct Marketing Assistant. Welcome to the team – we’re very happy to have you with us. #1 Tell us a bit about you - who is Laura?

If I had to describe myself with three words, it would be kind, positive, and adventurous. I always try to approach people with an open mind, and I love to try new things! Whether it is travelling to a new country, meeting new people, or just trying out a new recipe. Besides that, I’m a big family person and value spending time with good friends. In my spare time, I volunteer at Mødrehjælpen, where I help promote their cause on social media and I love reading books that can range from anything like crime fiction to psychology.

#2 Your role at Black Lemon is Direct Marketing Assistant, what does that actually mean?

My role at Black Lemon is centered around creating growth for Luxreaders and Black Lemons' other partners by promoting the businesses' brand, products, and services. This mainly happens through email marketing, where I’m a part of a team that’s creating and managing email campaigns, automation flows, segmentation, and lead generation. In short - all the intriguing emails you’re receiving might be from me!

#3 If you could meet one person (dead or alive), who would it be and why?

One person I would love to meet is Malala Yousafzai! Imagine having such a strong belief in a cause, that you won’t let anything get in your way – not even the Taliban - at such a young age. Just wow. Her continuous work for young girls and their right to education is amazing and I feel like it’s impossible not to get inspired by her bravery, intelligence, and thoughtfulness.
